You're getting a party - Tradução em português

Thanks all of you guys.

"Get" is one of the most multitasking word in English, a jack-of-all-trades of sorts.

One of its senses is that of paying something for somemody else, or treating somebody to a present (a drink, a dinner, anything).

Cambridge Dictionary:
21. [ I or T ] to pay for something
Put your money away - I'll get these drinks.

In your example it could be "nós estamos fazendo uma festinha pra você...", meaning that is the group of friends, family etc, and not you that are going to foot the bill.
Ok, very good answer.

Actually, I meant if "I am getting" or "you are getting" could be the same "I will get" or "you will get" or still "I will have" or "you will have", respectively, such as "I am getting a birthday party ("I will get a birthday party" ou "I will have a birthday party"), in portuguese "Eu vou ganhar (ou receber) uma festa de aniversário".

Thanks one more time.

Yes, could be both. I mean, if you are having it as a "treat" you can say "I will get" and "I will have" (to me, it´s a statement you make, in wich doesn´t matter wether your party is or is not paid by others.
Yet, when you can say "I will get..." that shows that you know you are aware that it´s a present of sorts.

Obviously context is everything, so in certain cases "get" may or may not express the "treat" thing. Using "having" would be less dubious in such cases.

Anyway, the context is what determines it, and with time you can determine on your own.
