Qual a diferença entre type e kind?
Gostaria de saber se há diferenças, podendo ser no significado e se é formal ou informal, mais usado ou menos usado, etc.

The main difference between Kind and Type is that Kind is used in the sense of sort whereas Type is used to show the sub-division or the category.

Sometimes kind means "tipo" (uma variedade de, ou seja, genericamente falando) and sometimes "classe/tipo" (categorias e tipos com seus subtipos e subcategorias, enfim divisões).
