Onde se lê "... without define", leia-se "... without defining"

Also, wouldn't we plainly write "She sometimes laughs, sometimes cries"?

She is happy at times and sad at others.
She is sometimes happy and sometimes not.
She is sometimes happy and sometimes sad.
She is sometimes happy and then she turns sad.
She is happy at times, at other times she is not happy at all.
She is hot and cold, ´cause at a given time she is perfectly happy...then/next she becomes sad/moody/have swings of mood etc. (is she ciclotimic?)
