Como dizer "Passar a máquina no cabelo" em inglês
Hi Everyone!
I went to a local barber shop this morning and I asked the barber: "Você poderia passar a máquina 2 no meu cabelo, por favor?" I was wondering how would I say it in English. How would we say: passar a máquina 0,1,2 ou 3 no cabelo? Thank you very much. Have a nice weekend.
Regards,

It let me imagining it too, a hunch of mine would be "I want it cut tight on the sides, could be with blade #2 at the sides and #3 at the top". Perhaps I want a crew cut or a short cut.
Or perhaps "I want it clipped/balded/trimmed at the sides with the #2 (indeed the #2 refer to the comb, not the blade, but we in Brazil got in the habit of saying it as if it was the blade itself...)
And I want a high/tight cut/high fade cut etc,...

Anyway, I admit are only educated guesses, I never ever had a hair cut by an English-speaking barber!

Anyway, regard this answer just like a kick-off, an opening. The ball is now in the experts´court.
