The boldened sentences, I choose because they would be more neutral ones, to my thinking.
Plus, these sentences could be said in a conversation when you are called to the HR to be said you are being fired. Hence many sentences that could seem harsh, but they would be softened by what they would say afterward.
For instance "we have reached the end of your trial period." seems like a neutral way, but if the person just say this to you and then say "next", you would certainly feel hurt. No attention given to the human being, see?
