A princípio fiquei com dó do "Da silva", mas me alegrei ao saber que há uma outra expressão da mesma família "vivinho da silva" (alive and kicking) and "...very much alive".

By the way the intensifier "totally" crazy (doidinho da silva) or "totally dead" (mortinho da silva) or indirectly "absolutely bonkers" also would do.
