Diminutivo e Aumentativo em inglês

Hi there...
Today I was watching a comedy show american and I realized that sometimes the main character spoke some words in way different. And so I realize that he was talking about what we know for "aumentativo" and "diminutivo". So here is my question. There is some thing similar in english grammar for what we know as "aumentativo" and " diminutivo"?
