"Climbing the wall(s)" in English isn't equivalent to "subindo pelas paredes" in Portuguese, more often than not. It's associated with being angry, agitated, upset, restless [1], impatient, bored [1], etc.

[1] Usually associated with the feeling of being trapped as well:
We were climbing the walls after three months in that small town. There was nothing to do there.
Of course, someone could be climbing the wall with boredom, and think that sex would be a way to do something about it, that is another story!

- "Ele me deixou subindo pelas paredes". (he made horny/he made me badly want to get laid) Some would use "he made me feel desperate to get laid. :-)

- "Vamos para o quarto, que eu já estou subindo pelas paredes"
Let's go to bed, I am burning in desire to have xxx/burning with desire, etc...

As for "subindo pelas paredes" in that other sense Brazilians are used to mean "ficar irritado por falta..." would be "to feel sexually frustrated" (a formal term here) - with a sense of dissatisfaction in a person’s sex life, that stems from a discrepancy between how much sex a person desires and their actual sexual activity. OR when a person is not currently satisfied with their sex life. Many people are currently sexually frustrated and dissatisfied with their love life Source: Findatherapist site.

In more informal ways: someone that is feeling irritable/moody/cranky because he/she isn't having xxx for a few days (or many days if you will). Sometimes, when it's associated with hormones, it might be called "mood swings", the lack of xxx makes the person angry (from outside, one might not notice and think it's for other reasons).
