Como dizer "Ligadão" em inglês

And other ways, of course, those are the kind of slang that changes all the time. More so when truck drivers, prisoners, drug kingpin, and other "tribes" have their own lingo, that in its turn, changes all the time.

I have heard once: "stay tuned up".

Does it make any sense?

That´s right, they use the "right on drugs" a lot on the Liveleaks (which is not that leak at all !)

Tune up, would mean "go on overdrive" (making an analogy to a computer clock, when people push their computer clock to way over their standard speed performance). When it comes to computing, the overdrive decreases the equipment´s life.
Tuning up a car would be "tuná-lo" in Portuguese, also having to do with engine performance (and of course, other parts so the car can handle the new speed etc.)
Strube tuned up several of their motorbikes and taught them several racing tricks.

There are vitamins and drugs that are supposed to enhance (tune up) the brain functions. Of course, available by prescription.

Concordando com alguns acima, para dizer "ficar ligadão" em inglês, no contexto apresentado, sugiro "get high". Existe até música com esta expressão.
