Generally we don't say "make a loss." We say "take a loss." You can have or make profits, but you have or take losses.

"Prejuízo" can be loss, detriment, damage, and even prejudice.
"Prejudicar" can be to harm, to cause harm, and even to prejudice.

Estava procurando a palavra prejuizo pois como perguntei antes a palavra "prejudicar" nao ha traducao, traduzimos como "harm", entao queria saber sobre "prejuizo".

Posso aplicar este "make a loss" pra todos os casos?

e sempre no sentido financeiro certo?

E como seria "prejudicado" no sentido emocional seria "harmed" "hurt"? De novo acho que nao ha traducao nao e mesmo?
