Como dizer “Rebite (droga)” em inglês

Zumstein, não estou dizendo que você está errado, mas eu acho que "rivet" não é um termo muito comum ainda para essa acepção da palavra, já que ela é mais conhecida como uma haste de ferro com uma cabeça numa das extremidades. Quando nos referimos à droga rebite, temos termos mais comuns chamados de "street names". Alguns deles, levando em conta que é uma anfetamina usada por caminhoneiros, são "co-pilot" and "coasts to coasts", mas o que faz jus a esse contexto é "truck drivers". Besides the street names, as the ones already given. I think generically that saying "on/using wake-up drugs" would cover any kind of them. Today, in Brazil it seems that meths, alcohol and energetic drinks (and/or coffee are the faves when it comes to long-haul driving), but nothing in the world is so good to prevent sleep-related accidents as a good nightly sleep and rest, or at least powernap.
Lucille is/was also a CB lingo, but it is very known and they don´t want to get
themselves understood (en clear) on that score, so they change the slang talking all the time. That´s why I preffer to say "wake-up drugs/chemicals etc"

There are scores of drugs (and names to them) wich a driver could use and
to meths it could be said "speed/meth/chalk" to meths.
