Como Ensinar Inglês para Adolescente

Também tanto quanto possível ajustar o que o professor aprendeu, e o máterial didático (e as as aulas em si) á dinâmica da realidade. Jovens/adolescentes são dinâmicos e curiosos e podem trazer "desafios", como palavras novas de uso corrente.
Algo similar com o que já passou por aqui, como alguém perguntar como se diz "ficar pistola", /"biscoiteiro" ou outras como "casca de bala" (pessoa que sempre te acompanha - somehow "best friend"...or "best party friend/friend joined at the hip" etc), etc.
Mas obviamente respeite seus limites, de tempo, de proficiência, etc, não queira ser o gênio, o "saber tudo", todos temos limites. Não estou advogando pra ser medíocre, até porque a área do ensino não permite isso.

Another thing is, acnowledge your weaknesses, one time I asked my teacher what did "doublle whammy" mean? He said he didn't know at the time, and got on with the class, that didn't change the fact he was one of the teacherr that helped me most with pronounce skills.

Além de material didático, eu recomendo que seja utilizado vídeos com situações e histórias que façam o aluno desenvolver a facilidade no listening, a ideia de utilizar jogos nas aulas também é algo importante que muda a dinâmica do aprendizado.
