Sinceramente, não estou entendendo essas 2 expressões. Pelo o que eu conheço, cair nas graças é alguém gostar de uma pessoa, ter carinho por outra pessoa.

Exemplos:

Jadson apenas fez 4 jogos pelo Corinthians e já caiu nas graças da torcida.
Essa nova atriz caiu mesmo nas graças do público.
Eu trabalho aqui há 3 meses e eu já cai nas graças do chefe e dos meus colegas de trabalho.

Pelo que eu pesquisei nenhuma delas eu posso usar neste sentido.
Elas parecem mais estar sob o controle, as ordens de alguém.

Concordo com Vítor Boldrin em seu arrazoado e proponho " Fall in the fancy of" uma vez que " take a fancy to " é tomar um gosto por alguém ou alguma coisa.

Adriano brought "fall in the arms", meaning that Korea could turn to (towards) Rússia (se voltar pra Russia ou, se preferir, cair nas garras da Rússia.)

Thomas has shown one expression in the same direction/sense.

Jorge is right, "cair nas graças" would be something like "falling in love for..."
"getting enamoured with/of..."/developin a like for...

"Falling in the fancy", it isn't the most used way.

Actually "fall into the arms" has a ring of "go/going into the arms" of somebody else (get associated, or if person - romantically into a relationship).

In Portuguese "cair nos braços de...".
Could also be metaphorically "(to) fall into the arms fo Morpheus..." (to sleep). [cair nos braços de Morpheus].

Cair nas graças pode ser usado, dependendo do contexto diferentemente de "cair nos braços de alguém.", então tratamos dos dois assuntos no mesmo tópico.
