Adverbial nouns are nouns or noun phrases that function grammatically as adverbs to modify verbs and certain adjectives. If a gerund phrase functions as a noun could I say that It could function like an Adverbial Noun?
For example:
It is not worth doing something
In this case, "doing something" would be modifying the adjective "worth".
