"Get by WITH" x "Get by ON": Qual é a preposição correta?

Hi !
Eu gostaria de saber, que preposição ( com o significado de com ) eu usaria com o phrasal verb GET BY ... ?
Eu vi os seguintes :

How can he get by ON so little money?
We can get by WITH four computers at the moment, but we'll need a couple more when the new staff arrive.
