Olá pessoal,
Nós aqui do interior acostumávamos fazer excursões religiosas (romaria católica) para Aparecida do Norte, Tambaú, Pirapora e invariavelmente trazíamos como lembrancinha aqueles pequenos binóculos com a imagem do santo dentro.
Ex.:
Meu pai ainda guarda fotos (aquelas que se vê com um olho só, no binóculozinho, contra a luz). (skyscrapercity.com)

Em Inglês: “Small binoculars with images inside that you see with only one eye.”

Como seria o nome do binóculozinho em inglês?

Eu o conhecia como monóculo. De qualquer forma, pela descrição cheguei aqui.

If so, you could call it monocle, monocular, eyeglass (not to be confused with eyeglasses).

Good one, Telma. All of sudden I felt nostalgic here, it brought me back to the childhood time, when I saw such things. Along with black white photos, and a soda bottle with the name "Crush". Talk about an old time!
