It's another level altogether.
Could also use something in the lines of "but that one IS a different level of technology altogether! ".
You can use IS or WAS, but there are two reasons for "IS", the time you are talking is now, and we can assume that the hospital won't be ruined by someone overnight only to prove you wrong!
I mean, if the standard was high a month ago, fat chances it's now too.

Valeu pela resposta, PPAULO! E assim aprendemos melhor o inglês e o português. Vamos que vamos!
I think "drive" in this item (from the Guardian) would be synonym with "move" (e "investida" em português brasileiro). That is, in the sense of "another move", a new try.
Actually "pegada", while slang in Brazil might be synonymous with a variety of things, according to Aulete and Dicionario InFormal. Could even be a man that would get women turned on!
Obviously it's easy to mix things in this sense, if we think of a guy that is a "go-getting" (being proactive towards relationships) along with 'sexual prowess', let's somehow call this combo "com iniciaitiva e química" etc.
See? "pegada" is a too wide word to a terse answer, and then comes "footprint" as in "carbon footprint", a jaguar footprints, a fighter punch, etc.
It goes with context, that sort of thing that usually doesn't show up in average dictionaries.
It helped that Yasmin added that "é outra" (it's another...altogether). It steered me in the right direction.

Poderíamos traduzir "pegada", nesse contexto", como "drive"?
Essa minha pergunta está fundada neste trecho do The Guardian .
Twenty years on, as the industry launches another drive for inclusivity, Newland is not holding his breath. “We are really wary because we have seen it all before, ” he says.
