I like phrasal verbs, so another option:

I have to talk her into it

(There's a song, if you like song lyrics, by Rolling Stones: Tried to talk her into it - Tentei convencê-la.)

Olá,

Concordo com o Marcio Osorio de Fa.
Agora, se este ''convencer'' tem o sentido de fazer a cabeça de alguém, você poderia usar o verbo ''to persuade''.

Also,

Bring sb around= To change sb's mind about sth; persuade sb to agree with you.

My friend does not want to watch the forthcoming Deadpool movie, but I'll try to bring him around.

"Eu tenho que convencê-la" in Portuguese seems like having a broader sense than in English, sorta. It could be the job of "bringing her to my side" or "swaying her into doing something she don´t want initially, or to think different.

That said, the two forms of convincing as it follows:

(persuadir a...)
Maybe you even have to talk her into going to the doctor.
I have to talk her into taking a photo, since she doesn´t like us taking photo of her.

(fazer mudar de idéia...)
She wants to be a psychologist but I have to change her mind, she should be a singer, she sings so beautifully!

Of course there is a some kind of intersection in the meanings (you can sometimes use both words with in the same sense - but not always). Thus, I thought it would be interesting to point out such minutes (details) on the choice of words. So, it might have different kinds of convincing.
