Seria mais ou menos uma tradução literal, mas eu aplicaria a expressão "farinha do mesmo saco", in English:

"Birds of a feather."

Entendi. Eu tinha imaginado "more of the same" mas achei que ficaria errado usar uma tradução literal. Mas no caso se você for falar que uma banda ou uma música é mais do mesmo acho que talvez (farinha do mesmo saco) fique estranho. Mesmo assim obrigado.

Alguém tem mais alguma ideia de outras formas de dizer isso?

I can think of a band that mimics a style, say a band A, B, or C that (just) mimics the style of W, Y or Z. Or then, we could say that a "it´s just one more K-Pop band (only by way of illustration here, you could redo it into "boy band" or something else). That is, it sings and dance in the same (average) levels as the others before it.
Or still putting it in other words, it´s not the "ultimate" band that does something that the others have never done before! Even boy bands or some other kind of genre has appeal when the "pioneers" come with their "catchy" tunes, steps, coreographies, etc, it´s a real fad, until the music scene is satured with it. Then, too much of a good thing makes it a "more of the (old) same"!

Qual seria uma expressão equivalente para falar que "algo é mais do mesmo", em inglês?
