Pode “one” ser usado como “alguém” sendo sujeito na frase?

Estava lendo este trecho e o “one” me pareceu incomum.

Posso usá-lo na frase ao invés de dizer “Someone” “Somebody” ?

O trecho é este:

(Essa parte só contexto) You have to be willing to put in the work to get the results you want. With that being said, I'll try my best to help out.

(Parte com “one”) “There are many different ways ONE could overcome this, this is what worked best for me.”
