Uptown - Tradução em português
I'd like to know what exactly does "uptown" mean.
The Cambridge dictionary defines it as follows:
in or towards the northern part of a city or town, especially if there is not much business or industry there
Whereas thefreedictionary.com defines it like this:
The upper part of a town or city.
To, toward, or in the upper part of a town or city.
So, I suppose that anywhere in the city apart from downtown can be called "uptown". Am I right?
Thank you in advance
