But e outras conjunções
My English texts usually use the conjunction "but" repeatedly. In Portuguese, we have some alternatives to word "mas" like "contudo" and "porem". So, what word can I use to substitute the conjunction "but"?

Linking Words: CONJUNCTIONS
Making a contrast: You can use
ALTHOUGH, EVEN THOUGH, THOUGH;
DESPITE ( - ; OF; THE FACT);
IN SPITE OF;
ON THE OTHER HAND/SIDE;
HOWEVER; BUT
YET.
Drawing a conlusion: You can use
SO;
THEREFORE;
AS I'VE SAID;
BASED ON;
AS A CONCLUSION;
TO CONCLUDE;
SUMMING UP.
Adding information: You can use
AND;
ABOVE ALL
AND ALSO;
FUTHERMORE;
BESIDES THAT;
MOREOVER.
There are many others. These are just some of them. Good luck!
