Eu sou da Califórnia (Americano) e agora sou um usário desta página. Meu português não é perfeito, mas gosto de ajudar outras pessoas e só descobri este site hoje.

"He's full of hot air" = ele esta inventando uma historia (mentindo)

"Just get to the point!" .... Não significa que a pessoa está mentindo. Ela somente está demorrando muito a conversa. Tipo, ela está te falando todas as detalhes que não são necesárias. “Vá para o ponto da história!” literalmente.
