Como dizer "pedreiro" em inglês

Boa tarde!

Gostaria de saber qual a palavra mais usada para falar "pedreiro" em inglês: "mason" ou "bricklayer"?

Thanks!

If you mean someone who can perform a wide range of repairs, typically for keeping buildings, shops or equipment around the home in good condition, including trade skills, repair work, maintenance work, both in interior and exterior, we use the term handyman in the US. This terrm can mean a paid or non-paid repair person.

Enlightening, really.
Mine was a comment of a complete layman, wich the closest that got to it was just to work as a mason mate once (a hod carrier to be more precise). Plus, in a Brazilian perspective the two words are even more interchangeable, at least to the man at the streets.
Another point to highlight, is that in Brazil the "pedreiro" job description is understood as all-encompassing, here we don´t usually think of the mason as having separate job description of the plasterer, bricklayer (of wich, they claim might do the jobs of plastering, scaffolding, being a hod carrier etc)
We are not so precise with our wording, most of the time, so we seek a "mason" (pedreiro) that is all-in-one to do these jobs when we need. When one won´t do, or the jobs are different we say that we took two masons (dois pedreiros) to do this and that, sometimes even to do the painting job!
Of course, it´s just a way of speaking, a Brazilian one.

Hi,

They can be used interchangeably, but look the link below:

bricklayer or mason ;)

Both are common, perhaps "mason" slightly more so.
"Pedreiro" can also be (in a more general way, it seems): builder, construction worker.
