Como usar "So are"?
Eu vi essa frase recentemente no sentido de "eles também são alguma coisa".
Exemplo:
-They say: I'm bad.
-So are they.
Como eu uso "so are" com todos os pronomes não so com o they? Eu posso usar o too invés de "So are". Ex: Invés de dizer "So are they" eu posso dizer They are too?
Desculpa se isso ficou confuso.
TIA

Hi, Umapessoanormal...
When you want to agree with someone else said, you can use this construction "so+ 'to be' + subjective pronoun" or "so + auxiliary verb + pronoun". Let's see some examples:
I'm so tired! So is she
He likes studying English! So do they
Though I've seen the construction "me too" many times, it's more informal. However, I insist, it does exist, but in some other register. Then, either "so are they" or "they are too" are correct, depending on to whom you are speaking to/with.
Cheers
