One online friend asked me if a certain activity gave money
I answered: it doesn't give me money, just a lot of work.
I was wondering if it was a proper answer or there is a better sentence (or idiom).
I didn't consider to use "worth" because it will lack the sense of give work instead give money.
What do you think?
