Actually, "Get that chair off your ass" means "Tira a cadeira da bunda." That isn't what you want to say, is it? What you meant is ""Get your ass off that chair." I think you made a typographical error because your English is quite good. I make them too. No sweat.
I would suggest, however: "Get your butt/ass out of that chair." Note that I changed "off" for "out".

"Get off your arse" is more like "to stop being lazy".
"Get off you arse and do something". (arse - british english; ass - american english)
