This work aims to analyze/the goal of this work is... the valuing of local culture and local products/goods, with emphasis on the importance of family-based agriculture for a more sustainable production.

I mean, if you want to assess the occupation´s worth not solely by the evaluation of the income of the average worker. Valuing would focus on the more wide social acceptance, for example, not in term of earnings per se.

Of course, one thing leads to the other. If there´s a valuation - increase in the value local goods and cultural (in terms of economic and commercial return), it´s likely that that kind of agriculture will attract more people. So the local community in general will value it as well), and vice versa.
In similar ways with what happens to the recognition of culture and arts (and their goods).
The work/essay/paper could even be about both aspects. It´s up to you, though; it goes with the tone and structure of your writing.
