Question: Do you believe in conspiracy theories?

The Oxford English Dictionary defines conspiracy theory as "the theory that an event or phenomenon occurs as a result of a conspiracy between interested parties; spec. A belief that some covert but influential agency (typically political in motivation and oppressive in intent) is responsible for an unexplained event" (wikipedia)

Possible answers:
  • Yes, I do. I tend to believe that governments and organizations manipulate and conspire all the time, and we're like puppets.
  • No, I don't. I don't think this conspiracy theory thing makes any sense. Reality can't be changed in such a way.
  • Sometimes I kind of believe them, but in fact I don't think real conspiracies are really like those in conspiracy theories.

I do believe in conspiracy, but it is certainly not easily proven, as by definition it comes from a very powerful and manipulative source.

I don't believe them. In general, such information is exaggerated to create a climate of tension and to cast doubt on most people. I believe in lies told by governments around the world, some "necessary" others not. Believing in an articulated plot in order to confuse the understanding, I don't think that fits. I do prefer to believe in useful information (at least for me).
