Essay - Intership Interview
Oi, pessoal.
Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. I am a Law student at University. When it comes to volunteering, I dedicate my time to volunteer at a project that assists domestic violence victims. However, I started to give back to the community earlier. When I was fourteen years old, I participated in an NGO that supports vulnerable families. I led a group of 30 people, and our main goal was to raise funds for those families, especially the kids. In the past year, I joined a study group of anti-discriminatory Law, which awakened the desire to research discrimination at companies, besides, I am always doing courses at good educational institutes to develop my soft skills.
The Law is an opening door for those who want to make a change in your community. This course demonstrated the possibility to use it as a tool for me to connect to people and understand how society works. I’ve been fascinated by social matters, and Law can give me the chance to know more about these. I have a fondness for commercial, labor law, personal data protection, and dispute resolution.
My strengths are determination, commitment, and balance. I am always trying to figure out how I have to behave, for example, when I must look forward to innovating or to keep traditional. Furthermore, I believe the organization is the way to achieve the best results, but also I have the awareness that unforeseen can happen and know how to deal with daily pressure.
My weakness is my humor fluctuation because sometimes I am productive, but the next day I might be unproductive, discouraged, but my commitment helps me overcome this flawlessly.
I can imagine myself as a successful lawyer, but the most important thing is that I continue learning and growing in my career, and never forget to keep down to earth, keep being an empathic professional.
