Todas essas formas significam a mesma coisa ou tem diferença? "Intravenous therapy, drip e infusion". Tipo quando tomamos medicamento na veia. E é "drip" ou "drips" com "s"?

A drip is sometimes known as a cannula, intravenous fluids or IV. The plural is drips.
In medicine, infusion therapy deals with all aspects of fluid and medication infusion, via intravenous or subcutaneous application. The intravenous therapy, abbreviated as IV therapy, is a medical technique that administers fluids, medications and nutrients directly into a person's vein. So, intravenous therapy is a type of infusion therapy.
