Mas veja o que o Longman diz na definição 2:

1 used to say that a person or thing is a typical example or the most important example of something [= especially, in particular]:
Some early doctors, notably Hippocrates, thought that diet was important.
2 formal in a way that is clearly different, important, or unusual:
Emigration has notably increased over the past five years.
Notably absent from his statement was any hint of an apology.
Talvez... "surpreendentemente"?

I guess at the limit we could think of "surprisingly," but generally just "vale observar ou destacar", ou "salientar". Worthy of note, I guess.
