Question: What's your favorite movie quotation?

Answer:

"There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for? What is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love." - Don Juan de Marco

"Run, Forrest, Run!" - Forrest Gump

"I see dead people" - The Sixth Sense

"Luke, I'm your father" Darth Vader, Star Wars

Dory, almost in the end of the movie: "Nemo! That's a nice name!" - Finding Nemo

Well, this is not a single quotation, but a whole dialog. I'd like to share it anyway:

Pippin: I didn't think it would end this way.
Gandalf: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path. One that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass... then you see it!
Pippin: What? Gandalf? See what?
Gandalf: White shores... and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise.
Pippin: Well, that isn't so bad.
Gandalf: No. No, it isn't.

"Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness and they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy, or they become legends" - first words of the film Legends of the fall

Well... some of my favorite quotations are:

"Luke, I'm your father" Darth Vader, Star Wars
"I wanna play a game." -Jigsaw, SAW
"With this candle... I will set your mother on fire..." Victor, Tim Burton's Corpse Bride^^
"As you wish..." Westley - The Princess Bride
There's a plenty of quotation that I like, but one I always remember is:

"Tomorrow is another day!" - Gone with the wind.

I know you can think I'm old, because I'm writing a quote so old, however I'm not old. I'm 27 years old. It's because my wife keeps on saying this quote to me. She's crazy about this movie.
Another very easy one for me, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." Rhett Butler to Scarlet O'Hara as he gives up on her and walks out of the house and her life, from the 1939 movie "Gone With The Wind".

Some matters of interest: In 2005 The American Film Institute voted this line The Best Movie Line of All Time; In the book, on which the film was based, the line was "My dear, I don't give a damn, the word "frankly" was added in the film; The word damn was used earlier in the film in the phrase "Damn Yankees", this remarkable because the use of "damn" was prohibited by the Motion Picture Association's Production Code from 1934 until just six weeks before the film's release.

Hey Danilo, nobody will say you're old because you like a old movie!! LOL I'm just eighteen and I love epic movies like "Gone with the Wind" - I remember the first time I watched this one... I was 4! I've never watched this movie with the Audio in Portuguese, funny. And the quote wrote by Bill is just unforgettable!

See you!
Ravenna,

If I may suggest, And the line quoted by Bill is just unforgettable. Otherwise Very Good.

Another question that's really hard to choose just one answer. Maybe the question should be: What are your favorite movie quotes? ;)

"May the Force be with you." Star Wars

"My Mama always said, 'Life was like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get.'" Forrest Gump

"Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary." Dead Poets Society

"I see dead people." The Sixth Sense

"Hasta la vista, baby." Terminator 2

"My name is Bond. James Bond." 007

Lula,

If I may suggest a few changes that might improve your post please consider my rewrite, which follows:

"I love movie quotations, as a matter of fact, I love all movies and I write articles about movies. But lets answer the question of "What is my favorite movie quotation?, which is, "We gonna need a bigger boat.", from JAWS.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if I can help your studies of English, also please see my post in the blog section on the home page about the excessive use of the ellipsis.
O filme do livro "The Picture of Dorian Gray" manteve inúmeras frases irreverentes, sendo a maioria delas ditas pelo cáustico Lord Henry.

Exemplos:

"If I could get back my youth, I'd do anything in the world except get up early, take exercise or be respectable."

"'Conscience.' It's just a polite word for 'cowardice.' No civilized man regrets a pleasure."

"There's no shame in pleasure. Man just wants to be happy. But society wants him to be good. And when he's good, he's rarely happy. But when he's happy, he's always good."

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed- interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing sprit- crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?"
"I have to tell you this and you need to hear it. I loved you since I met you, but I wouldn't allow myself to truly feel it until today. I was always thinking ahead, making decisions soaked with fear... Today, because of you... what I learned from you; every choice I made was different and my life has completely changed... and I've learned that if you do that, then you're living your life fully... it doesn't matter if you have five minutes or fifty years. Samantha if not for today, if not for you I would never have known love at all... So thank you for being the person who taught me to love... and to be love." - Antes que termine o dia

Adding some of my favorite movie quotes:

- "See what no one else sees. See what everyone chooses not to see... out of fear, conformity or laziness. See the whole world a new each day!" (Patch Adams)

- "If you kill him, he will win." (Seven);

- "We live, we die, and the wheels on the bus go round and round." (The Bucket List)

That's it!

Can't choose one right now, but for the moment..
