We also use downspout for the portion of the system that carries water down to the ground. My little grandchild was singing this to me today:
The itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain

mmm... fui pesquisar por "rain spout" é parece que é mais a saída da calha, ou seja, a "bica" que mencionaram no post.
Por outro lado, não confundir com Waterspout (tromba d'água).
