within five minutes = inside of five minutes
It is 12:20.
If I say that I will return within five minutes or inside of five minutes, I expect to return by 12:21, 12:22, 12:23, 12:24 or 12:25.
It is 09:30

Perhaps better examples could be given by using days, not minutes.
Today is Saturday.
If I plan to return within (inside of) four days or inside of four days, I expect to return on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
If I plan to return in four days, I expect to return on Wednesday.
"Within" seems to be more commonly used in relation to lengths of time than "inside of", but you will hear and see both.

Quando nos referimos a um tempo mais longo usamos o ''from now''
ex: I will be in the USA in a week from now (Estarei nos EUA daqui a uma semana).
