Se o "farinha do mesmo saco" quiser dizer algo como "não prestam do mesmo jeito" (como falaríamos de certos políticos, por exemplo...), acho que cai melhor a expressão "tarred with the same brush".

Dlr, when relating to physical similarity, we say in Portuguese "cara de um, focinho do outro"

I have heard the expression "to be tarred with the same brush" and I think it could be used.

All the same/From the same kind

My suggestions:

Made from the same mold.
Cut from the same cloth.
