Actually the Daily Mail item used "work from home/work-from-home" (in the sense of working remotely, hence as in the sense of home office working in the pandemics time).
Both are remote work, but today there is a distinction when it comes to working laws, home office now assumes you have a good broadband Internet, a work phone, working hours, a place that resembles 'an office', TV or newspaper correspondents and CEOs somehow worked like this.
Working from home could be that, or could be a YouTuber, a self-employed professional, coach, etc.
