I've just read this and would like to share with you... and know your opinion, of course.

Brazilian backlash: Sylvester Stallone pisses off an entire country

Bad move, old action star. Stallone, shown here with Jason Statham in the upcoming (and still awesome-sounding) “The Expendables,” said a couple of stupid things during Comic-Con. Here’s what he said about shooting the movie in the country to get Twitter in a tizzy: “You can shoot people and blow things up and they say, ‘Thank you! Take a monkey home with you!’

I do think he's made a really unfortunate comment about Brazil. It seems to me that he lives in the past where there was the Apartheid in Africa,West and East Germany and the cold war between the USA and the USSR(Soviet Union). He most probably thinks the Twin Towers are still there, which is why many things changed since 2001.His type of bahaviour is one of the reasons why 9/11 happened, historically speaking.

He's what we call a "meathead" (meat-head) or basically a guy that just lifts weights all the time and isn't very smart and says a lot of stupid sh...stuff. He would probably trade his brain for more muscles if he could.

I heard he's apologized.

I'm sure that he and his opinion of Brazil don't represent the whole of the United States.

I agree with almost everything he said. Tell the truth nowadays seems to be inappropriate. The real problem for me is the fact that we pay too much attention to these "stars". Couldn't care less about what they say.

Yes, that was a totally inappropriate comment. Since he is a star, a popular personality, he shoud be more careful with what he says.
