Wagon x Carriage - Qual a diferença?

Avatar do usuário Junior Lucas 140 3
Wagon or waggon is another way to say car or freight car, the word that is used in U.S. Carriage, in England, also means the same, as I can infer from the dictionary definitions.

My question is simple: What's the diffrence so, between wagon and carriage?

Someone knows?

I really thank you all! :)

wagon noun

1 (British English) (North American English freight car) a railway/railroad truck for carrying goods
2 (British English also waggon) a vehicle with four wheels, pulled by horses or oxen and used for carrying heavy loads

carriage noun

1 (also coach) (both British English) (North American English car) [countable] a separate section of a train for carrying passengers
a railway carriage
2 [countable] a road vehicle, usually with four wheels, that is pulled by one or more horses and was used in the past to carry people
a horse-drawn carriage

Encontrei as definições acima no Oxford dictionary (learners version)
Pelo que pude ver wagon to carry loads e
carriage to carry passengers
Gostaria que mais alguém pudesse ajudar a responder, ratificar ou retificar...
