Adjetivos longos e curtos em inglês: Como classificar?

Gostaria de saber se como os adjetivos são classificas em longos ou curtos e se o adjetivo angry é considerado longo ou curto.

- Quanto a "angry" sempre usei como adjetivo curto ao fazer o comparativo com "angrier" e o superlativo com "angriest". Porém, o Oxford diz que é possível dizer "more angry" e "most angry", que é um uso para adjetivos longos. Mas eu, pessoalmente, classificaria como curto.

Oi, queria saber se o adjetivo "scary" é short (curto) ou long (longo), pois preciso saber se uso "the most scary" ou "scariest".

You can identify them by the number of syllables, this dictionary may come in handy for you. The point in-between separates them.

In the case of "angry" the forms would be the comparative "angrier" or "more angrier" - and the superlative would be (the) "angriest".
You will notice that to comparisons, superlatives forms, etc, they indicate how it is, in an aside note.
