Farol alto: Full beam (US High beam)
Full-beam means your headlights are on full, you use that in mainly rural areas where the roads are not lit.
Farol baixo: Dipped headlight (US Dimmed beam)
Dipped headlights you use in urban areas, and the ones you revert to so as not to blind on-coming traffic on unlit roads.
Lanternas: Sidelights and taillights
