"His bicycle grazed a parked car", if the damage was minimal, or "his bicycle scratched / scraped a parked car".
A scratch is usually more serious than a scrape. Grazing a vehicle would mean a minor abrasion, and less readily noticeable than a scrape or a scratch.

To scrap também serve para dizer raspar/ralar a perna,sabe quando a gente cair no asfalto e raspa/rala a pele.

When it "touches" some earth high up atmosphere it "grazes" or "grazes past" (if you wish). That is, there are some "touch/contact" up there, which slows it, but then it is somehow kicked away again. Sort of, for practical purposes.
An split or lesser asteroid would not only touch it, but come in, then it could be called a meteorite.
As in "Asteroid the size of a bus grazes past Earth"
