It's really painful when you've fallen in love with anyone and you are not loved back. Being attached to someone who doesn't feel the same for you must be horrible, it brings pain just by thinking about it. Seeing somebody's picture being like by your loved one and not yours is one example that would bring a lot of pain just by a common act. The bottom line is when you love too much that person and can't let it go, but if you keep it in that way you will always be depressed. You deserve something better, you don't need this. Love is like a drug, but just like any other drug, you can be unaddicted. This pain of being rejected might be something good, after all, it's something bearable. There are other types of depression which are much worse. Even when it seems to be the end of the world it's not.
