Exchange in INDIA

Namaste! So Hi everybody! I wanna share my experience in India. I'm here since August, and I'm loving, it's a wonderful experience, learning so much, and yeah i'm improving my English.
I'm here in the Rotary Young Exchange Program. English is a official language here, but is not speak in everyday life for most of people. Most of the states or regions have their own language, in my state is Marathi. I live close from Mumbai. But in this 3 months i just spoke english, i'm going to high school here, and my classes are all in english.
Different from Brazil, u'll not get lost if u speak english, cuz most of the people speak as the second or third language. But u have to know that the accent is hard to understand, even after 3 months, sometimes i just smile and hope that is not a question haha.
It's a exotic country, very different from West, but that's what make my experience so wonderful and unforgettable. The festivals, the food,the costumes, the songs, the movies, everything is so magic and fantastic. I never been regret to choose India.
And if u are afraid to choose India because u wanna improve ur english, u'll speak english here all the time, almost everybody speaks, there's lots of newspapers, tv channels, radio, everything in english, even in the restaurants, hotels, it's so easy.
And if ur teenager try to come by Rotary Exchange Program, it's cheaper than private exchange, it's very safe and u have lots of experience. they work in exchange for all the world, so u can choose another countries.
