Had + sujeito + verbo no past perfect: Como utilizar?

Oi Pessoal!!

Tipo:

Had + sujeito + verbo no past perfect

Ex (como tava na prova):

No sooner had he given her the answer, than she started do laugh.

No sooner had they met with a positive response from honorable Egyptians residing in Kuwait than they were arrested by Kuwaiti State Security, without prior warning, in an insulting manner snubbing the dignity of Egyptian people.

Leandro, I think you have a good understanding of this concept. As you can see, there is no major difference between what you wrote on the exam and the quotation above from www.tahrir.docs.

Little did he understand the situation
Never have I been more insulted!
No sooner do you give him a toy than he breaks it

No sooner had he given her the answer, than she started do laugh.

Definição do 'Thefreedictionary':

No sooner...than = As soon as = assim que:

No sooner was the frost off the ground than the work began.
Assim que o gelo saiu do chão o trabalho começou.
