YOLO - Tradução em português

I've being seen this term frequently these days: YOLO. It seems to be something annoying to people who speaks English, like a slang, but actually I think it's not a word and up to now it seems to be a way to sorry for something, but I'm not 100% sure.

Could you help me out? :)

This is a twitte I just saw and that probably will help you to understand the usage of "Yolo":

"#20PetPeeves People who use "YOLO" as every excuse."

I know that this is not that helpful, but it's not something easy to find in a understandable way :roll:

Surfing on the internet I found out that "YOLO" is a acronym for You Only Live Once. :)

Well It's not what I expected it to be, but I guess that it will help other people on the future. ;)

Now I have another similar question: What does the acronym "SWAG" mean? I've been looking for it on the internet but I have never found a good answer. Does anyone know about this acronym?

The reason it's hated, is because people will try to justify stupid actions/decisions with YOLO, whereas YOLO ("Which is pretty much Carpe Diem for dumb people", like somoene has said in the internet) should actually only address to BOLD actions/decisions

I actually have never face Swag as an acronym, rather than just some lame word to replace 'style' or 'class'. And even if it is an acronym, these meanings seem to always work for me.
