Certainly would happen x would happen certainly

N001
Hello everybody!

It has been a long time since I ever stop to think about grammar and I've come to forget how to fit adverbs in the middle of the sentences. I would like to say : Isso é o que certamente aconteceria. But I have no idea where to put the adverbial "certainly".

This is what certainly would happen
This is what would happen certainly

Or is it on a different way?

Thanks in advance!
Happy Easter

Auxiliary verb + Adverb + Main Verb.

This is what WOULD (aux verb) CERTAINLY (adv) HAPPEN (main verb)

As vezes, ADVERBS OF CERTAINTY como o CERTAINLY podem tb aparecer no inicio da frase, sem crise!

CERTAINLY, this is what WOULD HAPPEN.
Olá Nicole! I hope you're alive and kicking!
O advérbio "certainly", pode sim ser colocado em começos de frases, ficando:
Certainly, (comma = vírgula)) this is what would happen!
Porém há um jeito mais comum, consequentemente, melhor empregado na frase, que é o uso do advérbio entre o auxiliar e o verbo principal da mesma:
Estrutura: Sujeito (pronome) + auxiliar + advérbio + verbo principal, ficando:
This is what would CERTAINLY happen
This is what would (auxiliar) certainly (advérbio) happen (verbo principal).
Espero que tenha lhe ajudado.
God bless ya!
Cheers!
