1. Quando o significado é "isto", "isso"
"This" pode ser usado tanto em relação a algo que foi dito ou vai ser dito.
"That" é usado em relação a algo que foi dito.
"It" é usado em relação a algo que foi dito ou que está sendo dito.
Do Longman: this: used to refer to a person, thing, idea etc that has just been mentioned or to something that has just happened. / used to refer to something that you are going to say or that is just about to happen.
That: used to refer to a person, thing, idea etc that has already been mentioned or is already known about.
Do Oxford: It: used to refer to an animal or a thing that has already been mentioned or that is being talked about now.
