The press as whole use expressions such as closing Mass/final Mass/closure Mass of the World Youth Day (more of a World Youth Journey, since it wasn´t/isn´t just a day).
Some religious People (meaning Fathers, Catholic Bishops etc) would say Sending Mass, since it is meant to be a calling to youth be sent out to make disciples.
The JMJ site uses both final/closing Mass.
=======================
Many people doesn´t use "mass" (with small-letter "m"), perhaps out of reverence. In fact some dictionaries of old make distinction between Mass and mass. I would understand both ways, however it´s worth noticing that when talking about special events (designation/adjectivation of wich mass/Mass) it is used capital M, ever. Examples: Sunday Mass (Missa de domingo/dominical), Midnight Mass (Missa do Galo) and so on.
To, there was a "slip" somehow, if The Guardian spelled it with final M, so "World Youth Day Mass.
Note: Now I realize that that "Day" was in use perhaps because it is the final day of the, so called Journey.
