Como dizer "narrar" em inglês
I was wondering how should I say the following sentence: "A mulher responsável por narrar o filme também fez um ótimo trabalho"
Can I write something like: "The woman responsible for tells the movie did a great work as well." ??? I think that sounds strange...
Thank you in advance.

Não apenas depois do "for", mas após qualquer preposição. Seguem alguns exemplos:
We talked about going to South America.
She apologized for not telling the truth.
Have you succeeded in finding a job yet?
They insisted on paying for dinner.
I'm thinking of buying a house.
I wouldn't dream of asking them for money.
She doesn't approve of gambling.
We have decided against moving to Chicago.
Do you feel like going out tonight?
I'm looking forward to meeting her.
I congratulated Ann on getting a new job.
They accused me of telling lies.
Nobody suspected the man of being a spy.
What prevented him from coming to see us?
The noise keeps me from falling asleep.
The police stopped everyone from leaving the building.
I forgot to thank them for helping me.
Excuse me for not returning your call.
hope that helps

Hi Tiago
I think if you use "the woman responsible for narrating the movie...", it works very well.
"Telling" could work if you said "telling the story in the movie...".
(The preposition "for" invokes a gerund here.)

COMO COMBINAR PALAVRAS EM INGLÊS
Aproveitando, sempre que depois do "for" vier um verbo, esse verbo tem que ser com "-ing"? Parece que o Donay tinha dito algo assim em algum post antigo, mas não me lembro.
Wow!
What a great set of sentences! Thanks Flavia!
